I am an artist of many forms.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
I consider my main form of art to be entrepreneurship. Through insight and innovation, entrepreneurship is undoubtedly a multi-faceted creative process. I have worked on a number of start-ups over the years consulting in various roles ranging from project coordinator, analyst, television producer, to the “C” suite. See my LinkedIn profile for more detail.
MULTI-MEDIA ART
I LOVE making motion picture art. I am proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator from Adobe’s CS6 creative suite. I’m also very well versed in Final Cut Pro 7.
I’ve written, produced, directed, and edited a number of commercials for clients’ businesses. Here’s a couple of examples:
For almost three years I produced the Art Showcase for Siam Productions, Inc., a direct sales advertising show selling fine art in an auction format on live broadcast television. It consisted of producing two shows per week that were five or six hours each. Here’s an excerpt from that show:
The Silver Echo Gallery was one of my favorite entrepreneurial endeavors because it was purely creative. It was a multi-media experiential art gallery that I founded. The art of the gallery was an experience that could only be had by attending one of the events. I oversaw all of the art event planning and all the marketing including the press release drafting & distribution, video production, SEO & SEM. The gallery soon was getting recognition all over the world; I started getting calls from San Francisco to Sweden. I produced & edited all digital content & oversaw content syndication. Here’s an example of one of the “trailers” for the Silver Echo Gallery:
“Miruhkul” is another one of my favorite projects. This is the trailer for the documentary feature film called, “Miruhkul” following several spinal cord injured patients who go to Lisbon, Portugal seeking their miracle via an adult stem cell procedure, which is not available in the United States.
VISUAL ART
I like to work with charcoal and collage as well as digital mediums. Here are a few examples of my art.
While finishing my undergraduate degree at Marymount California University I produced a stop motion animation called “Cup of Lust” as my final project in my film production class. I thoroughly enjoy purely creative projects like this.
MUSICAL ART
I started playing the alto saxophone in 5th grade. I love to play classical music and I really enjoyed the Jazz Ensemble at Marymount California University during my undergrad days. I also started dabbling with the guitar when I was very young. I only know a a few dozen chords, but I enjoy playing easy acoustic music. Being in the “band” in high school gave me access to many instruments and I always enjoyed beating up a the drum set after class as well.
